Description
Semi gantry cranes are a variation of traditional gantry cranes. They consist of a gantry structure made up of a horizontal beam (on which a hoist runs) connected at one end to a single upright column. The other end of the beam travels along a raised rail that is either mounted to a building wall or column/s or a dedicated freestanding gantry steel structure. The base of the upright column will typically run along the floor using tyres or a ground level rail. Suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications, semi-gantry cranes are often the practical lifting solution for many applications.
